Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

What countries have you lived in?

Canada (Nova Scotia & Ottawa).

Where is your favorite place in the world and why?

My favourite place in the world is Nova Scotia. It’s one of the most scenically beautiful places in the world with its sparkling ocean views, 41 beaches, mountain vistas, and rolling hills. Its people are friendly, resilient, and fiercely proud of their province. And then there’s the Eastcoast music that fills our hearts and brings us home

What three words would you use to describe yourself?

Fun-loving, compassionate, & visionary.

What is your favorite thing about working for Eurocentres Atlantic Canada?

Meeting new people & helping newcomers to blossom.

What one piece of advice would you give to international students starting their ESL journey at Eurocentres?

When you’re learning English, you’ll hit hard spots at times, and that is when you’ll discover your greatest improvement. Never give up!

Where is your favorite place in the world and why?

I am still looking for a favorite place but mainly anywhere that makes me feel welcome at home.

What three words would you use to describe yourself?

Responsible, persistent and empathic.

Are there any achievements or qualifications you are proud of and would like to share?

When I look back and see how many students have learned English and how many of them have been able to study abroad following my advice, that makes me extremely proud.

What is your favorite thing about working for Atlantic Canada Language Academy?

I love working with people from different countries, where everybody contributes with a piece of history, culture, experience, each piece of a perfect puzzle.

What one piece of advice would you give to international students starting their ESL journey at ACLA?

Don’t be afraid of speaking and sharing your ideas, the more you express yourself the faster you will learn the language and make friends as well.

Take advantage of this very unique opportunity, savor every minute of it, and know when you return home to your friends and family, you will not be the same person who left. You will have grown as a human being… for the better. This is as (or more) important than the scholastic knowledge you have received when studying abroad.
