| Protected Persons | Notification letter from the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada noting their protected status is conferred |
| Canadian Citizens born outside Canada | Citizenship Card or Canadian Passport |
| Individuals Awaiting Statutory Checks | A letter from Citizenship and Immigration indicating that individuals are awaiting statutory CIC checks |
| Nova Scotia Nominees | Letter of nomination from the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration |
| PR Applicants with Work Permit | Valid temporary or post graduate work permit AND a letter from NS Office of Immigration confirming the receipt of the application, OR a letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada confirming the application |
